Career Profile
Abiodun Adeyinka obtained her B. Tech Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology Akure, her MSc and PhD. in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan.
She is a lecturer and facilitator in the Department of Computer Science, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), and also the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and facilitator at the Africa Centre of Excellence on Technology Enhanced Learning (ACETEL-NOUN).
Research interest includes Forensic Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, AI and Data Science and she has a number of publications in these fields that have appeared in high impact journals and learned conferences. Adeyinka is appointed as Regular Associate of the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) from 01 January 2026 until 31 December 2031.
A prestigious award since the inception of the Centre intended for scientists of a good research level, from and working in developing countries with the aim for scientists to remain regularly in contact with the most modern aspects of their scientific fields.. She is also a member of many associations, among which are the Organization of Women in Science for the Developing World, Black-in-AI amongst others.
